Follow my tuning experiment on the
Red Ricer blog.
Slow progress on the tune. There is a steep learning curve, but I find it interesting to read how this EFI system functions.
Many moons ago - May 2001 - I ordered a Factory Five MKI roadster and in August '01, I flew up to the FFR warehouse, picked up the kit and drove back home to Virginia. I sent the car to the painters in February '02 and got it officially on the road June '02. Even after it was on the road, I have made many changes to the car over the years; however, I have neglected the Roadster the last couple years, but I have been spending time on updating some of the wiring and I am hopeful to get the car back on the Autocross courses in '10.
As I mentioned on my
blog site I bought a Quarterhorse module and will decide on editing software soon. I will update this page with my tuning process.
